Why do people say dumb stuff about the Scottish?

On youtube, everytime someone watches my videos i get attacked by trolls when they hear i am Scottish. I get stupid comments like where's your kilt Hamish (even though i'm not called Hamish!) and they say that we are sheep shaggers which is incorrect, that's the welsh lol jk. Also get the typical stereotype that we Scots are alcoholics, and we run around the hills killing Haggis, even though Haggis is a sheeps stomach filled with oats, spices, ground meat and other stuff, and never lived a day in it's life as a real animal. I really really hate when they say i dress too normal to be a proper Scotsman, i mean come on it's the 21st century, do you all think we are so far back in time we still run about the hills in kilts, fending off the English at Hadrian's wall with our claymores, and eat Haggis neeps and tatties everyday for dinner? I suppose you probably think the English still invade us and commit prima nocta on our women on their wedding night thus trying to breed out us Scottish? Or that Ireland is overrun by Leprachauns that have pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, and say potatoes all the time? I like Americans but it seems to be them these comments come from, are Americans really that clueless? I mean people say Americans are all obese, stupid and lazy and eat peanut er and chocolate and fried chicken food stuffs but i know it's not true. Come on America we don't wear kilts everyday!!! (apart from weddings and things) and we CERTAINLY do not shag sheep or have Haggis neeps and tatties for dinner everyday, that would be an icredibly boring diet.
