How can Ichiro Suzuki stand playing for the Seattle Mariners? Why won't he be traded?

He's a way-above-average hitter, batting .335 lifetime in the Majors and also had 10 consecutive 200+ hits seasons (First in mlb). I don't get how he can stand playing with the 50-60 win Mariners. He should get traded to another team, where he can be much better.
