Lone Ranger and werewolves?

No one would shoot a silver bullet. Silver is used to tip some bullets because it expands rapidly on impact. It is not used where is a factor. So if I had a thin skinned bad guy to shoot I would use silver shot in a 12ga. If I had one at any distance past 40yards I'd use something else. Where do you hunt your "wolfs"?
