In Cases of Stoning by the Taliban Would it Be Right for USA to Take Action?

The U.S. condones torture by flying captives abroad to get others to do it for them. They also stand back in Iraq and watch the most barbaric acts taking place. Why should people with the morals of the U.S. object to a little stoning?
