Is online dating worth my time..?

I spend some time of my life on the computer and I meet thes ladies who are wonderfully nice but I think if I were to meet these women in person would it make everything onward?? I think why People online date is because it's a mestory behind everyones story, you don't know them they don't know you it's more Fun and exciting this way but I'm just confused... Is online dating worth my time?
