Is this paragraph punctuated correctly?

I haven’t been heavily involved in school organizations throughout my high school career, but FFA has helped me grow to see the importance. In my senior year I have begun to be more involved and find joy in doing so. FFA is my favorite organization that I participate in. Before officially joining I have taken part in certain events, like Adopt a Highway, where I cleaned trash off the side of the road and a parade, where I helped with the FFA float and handed out brochures to the crowd watching it being presented. FFA has showed me just what the point of school organizations is and how much they can help others in the community, and I am thankful for that.
