LPG on car not working?

I have duel fuel on my 1995 Ford fairmont,gas and petrol however the LED display isn't working or lighting up to indicate that its working and its not swapping from petrol to gas. What are some common faults that I as an amateur could check. I know that I have at least half a tank of gas.
