Sony KP-57HW40 rear projection TV split sceen issues?

If your TV is being fed over the non-RF ports, then it sounds like the TV is incorrectly connecting the "bad" side to the RF input, where it finds nothing connected and so you get static. You could try feeding in RF to the coax connector and see if a picture shows up.
