What are some horror movies to scare fanatics?

My friends and I are huge fans of good horror movies. We have watched a plethora of types of horror movies including suspense, thriller, psychological, slasher, paranormal, etc. But, we have been let down by most of these because they all seem quite clich� and lackluster in terms of the plot line. So, we are looking for some to really impress us.
