I do not know what to believe?

parents are our first reliable source of info....that is all based on their experiences....the world changes so fast now that their antiquated beliefs do not necessarily apply to what is going on right now....the key is respect....respect where they have been and gone through and try to to find a way to compare and contrast....different times but more similar than you all realize...communicate, don't argue
