What caused the brink of war in Europe during 1914?

What caused the brink of war in Europe during 1914? I'm not sure, but I believe it's when the archduke of Austria-Hungary, Franz Ferdinand, came to Bosnian city. I don't know the answer. Can some one help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
