Why wont my dad understand?

By dance im going to ume you mean ballet. I danced all through highschool and part of college until I had to have surgery. I should mention I was homeschooled and did get my GED once I graduated. There is nothing wrong with having a GED. Your dad is probably upset because he knows you will miss out on prom and the normal stuff highschoolers do. If I were you I would do some research on the GED and make sure you will be able to p it with the education you have right now. Also DO NOT put it off, its very easy to keep telling yourself you will get it later but never take the steps it take. I hope this helps and good luck.
